SYNOPSIS:

Historical novel set between the years 1500 to 1550, the story of a young Mexica who has the

privilege to participate in the daily provisioning of fresh seafood brought from the Gulf Coast

 to please one of the Whims of the Emperor Moctezuma II.

Ilcuitemoc's life is spent respecting the ingrained customs of the Aztecs; performing its task, it is his turn to witness the arrival of the Conquerors (Spaniards) to the coasts of the Mexican Empire, reports to their superiors, the facts and in the course of the conquest, participates in very important missions commissioned by Cuitláhuac and Cuauhtémoc, for the defense of the great Tenochtitlan.

Ilcuitemoc witnesses and suffers the loss of a beloved first cousin, victim of abominable sacrifices; for one Important contribution in their military training, is made

creditor to a great recognition (La pluma de Quetzal) and manages to realize a successful life.

The novel leads the reader to imagine how the Miscegenation narrating the marriage of one of his children with a daughter of Spaniards and tells as Bernardo the grandson of Ilcuitemoc and Citlalitzin his wife, studies at the University of Salamanca and gets to play an important position in the New Government.
