SYNOPSIS:
"Beu" is a journey into two worlds, albeit with different customs and societies, no one is free of prejudice. The story is narrated by a curious girl with a facility for dreaming and surprise. She invites us to travel around her village, we accompany her to the meadow, we walk goats, we go fishing, we share her fascination for her first day of school, we discover her love for letters, her first love, her disappointment and nonconformity towards a conservative society and her longing to know what lies beyond her village.
On the other hand, we have a housewife tired of routine who narrates her search for "being" and the struggle that she has to fight against a society full of stereotypes, even confronting herself. Together with her, we deal with her inner self, we’re going with her to literary workshops, we are accomplices of her mental blocks and her conflicts about the fact of writing or not. She invites us to meditate on issues such as everyday life, family, loneliness, the awareness of the passage of time and the role of women.

“Beu” es un recorrido en dos mundos, aunque con costumbres y sociedades diferentes, ninguna queda libre de prejuicios. La historia es narrada por una niña curiosa con una facilidad para soñar y sorprenderse. Nos invita a recorrer su pueblo, la acompañamos al campo, paseamos chivos, vamos de pesca, compartimos su fascinación por su primer día de clases, descubrimos su amor por las letras, su primer amor, su decepción e inconformismo hacia una sociedad conservadora y su anhelo por saber qué hay más allá de su pueblo.
Por otro lado, tenemos a una ama de casa cansada de la rutina quién nos narra su búsqueda del “ser” y la lucha que tiene que librar ante una sociedad atiborrada de estereotipos, incluso enfrentarse a ella misma. Junto a ella lidiamos con su interioridad, la acompañamos a talleres literarios, somos cómplices de sus bloqueos mentales y sus conflictos sobre el hecho de escribir o no. Nos invita a meditar en torno a temas como la cotidianidad, la familia, la soledad, la conciencia del paso del tiempo y el rol de la mujer.
